Eligibility

Children ages 4–14 are eligible to play, and players must turn 4 years old before September 1 to participate in the upcoming season. CYSL welcomes players of all skill levels from beginners to those with previous soccer experience. 

 

CYSL focuses on skill development, teamwork, and fun in a supportive environment. Our goal is to help young players build confidence, learn the fundamentals of the game, and enjoy being part of a team. Practices are held during the week, with games most Saturdays during the season.

 

Registration Fees

The registration fee is $120 per player, with a $10 discount for each additional sibling registered from the same family.

 

Scholarships

We believe cost should never be a barrier to participation. Scholarships are available upon request to help ensure that every child who wants to play has the opportunity. Thanks to generous sponsors and community support, CYSL offers scholarships and financial assistance to ensure every child who wants to play has the opportunity.

 

Information Needed for Registration

During registration, families will be asked to provide basic player and parent/guardian information, including contact details, jersey size, emergency contact information, and any important medical notes. After registration closes, teams will be formed and coaches will reach out with practice schedules and additional season details.

In-person Registration

To help make registration accessible for everyone, CYSL will offer several opportunities to register in person, and Spanish-speaking volunteers will be available to assist families during those times.

Keeping Soccer Accessible

Coast Youth Soccer League is committed to keeping youth soccer affordable and accessible for all families in our community. We work hard each year to keep registration fees as low as possible so that every child who wants to play has the opportunity.

​

While our registration fee is $120 per player, the actual cost to run a full season is approximately $160 per player, and those costs continue to rise. Expenses include uniforms, equipment, field maintenance, insurance, referee training, and other league operations.

​

Community support helps bridge that gap. If you are able, please consider sponsoring a team, making a donation, or volunteering your time. Every contribution helps us keep the league strong and ensures that local kids can continue to learn, play, and grow through soccer.
